An important standing leg
of our consortium is the department for used clothes/used shoes. The department is busy
with the gathering of used clothes and used shoes in collection bins as
well as with street collections in relation with charitable
organisations and associations.
Our current catchment
area is Southern Germany. The collected textiles ans shoes are supplied
to a recycling, in which the recycling rate lies at ca. 90%. The
textiles usually get a second life in their original form as
second-hand clothes. We are always looking for new suppliers
and clients for textiles and shoes. If you are interested,
please contact Mr. Denning under the above mentioned contact data.
Here you find 3
possibilities, how you can earn money with us and with it helping
people in need of help as well as protecting the environment:
1. You place a location
at our disposal on your ground, where we can put our collection bin
(see illustration above). For that, you receive an annual apron rent
from us. The bins are being continuously emptied, checked by us and in
addition, we will always keep the location clean. You won't
have any work with it.
2. You organize drives to
collect used clothes and shoes and you will sell them to us. For that,
you will receive a weight-related refunding. We can provide
you with collection containers (buckets, baskets etc.) if necessary.
3. You will receive
optical appealing collection bins (see illustration above) for your
collections of used clothes and shoes, which you will empty yourself
and you bring us the ware to Ulm. In this case also, we will
refund you the whole collected ware.
With the variants 1 and
3, you cab of course arrange the collection bins (see ill. above) at
your disposal as you wish (paint, placard,
etc.)
We support, among other things, the action "Radio 7 Drachenkinder"
with a part of the income from the business with used clothes and
shoes. This action has been brought into being in 2005 and supports
children and young persons who are or were in life-threatening
situations - whether through effect of violence, the death of a family
member or illness - between Alps and Bodensee, Schwarzwald and
Allgäu.
